poetry thursday, math-second-time-around

i wish i would have checked the poetry thursday
website earlier, because the prompt this week
is repeat of one of my favorites, building on a line...
i loved this the last time it was done,
but sadly,
i'm a day late and a dollar short
so in the spirit of rejuvenated prompts
i offer you a mathematical piece
that i did for a past prompt
but chose another to post at the time
but the more i look at it now,
the more this one speaks to me
in equations and graphs.

i offer you subtraction
to replace the minuses
you were given.
what you hate
i try to take away
or at least
divide by half...
i offer you
flimsy mathematical
magic tricks,
and behind my sleight of hand,
you laugh.

It takes two to do math. Liked this. You can still write and repost later.

Oh this made me smile, mathematics always seemed to me like so much sleight of hand!

I love this and I don't love math. Thank you - I needed some cheering this morning.

I multiply their positives in an attempt to equate how much I loved your mathematical genius.
