I don't have children, but that's what I think about some of my nieces and nephews - they are soooo much more cool than I was at their ages!

Ditto that! My daughter has a lot more self-confidence than I did when I was her age! She participates in oratorical contests, something I never ever did because I was too shy/scared/insecure.
Plus, she hangs around the 'in' group at school.
That is the cutest story ever. Seriously.
