Glue an envelope into your journal. For one week collect items you find on the street.
the envelope is glued into the front of a new
journal started with this idea mission
in mind...
have also started painting the front
of the new journal
(originally a sketch pad)
and have the poem from number 5
glued in...
no photo of the envelope or the cover
because i spent the day taking photos
and by the time
i take more photos of the journal
and upload all the photos on the camera,
the day will be gone.
so instead,
i will tell you how i am feeling about this
idea so far...and the truth is?
i'm loving it.
i really find that i am getting a lot out of it...
it is pushing me in directions i may
not have thought about before...

i have ordered this book and cannot wait
for it to come in....
i can't wait to see this movie...
or this one...
and although in a lot of her songs,
i have no idea what she is saying,
i love this woman's voice...

I wish I understood too... haunting and interesting and all that...
I've said it before, but I find this SO inspiring. And... I'm thinking ahead because January is always a little blah for me. So. I think I will start your project in January. I am excited about it already. Oh, about that book. I predict you will read it with such fervor that you will feel like your head is about to come off.
that book and natalie's brilliant inspiration defined my 20s ... a friend mentioned it to me yesterday an now you today, hmmm, maybe its time to pull it off the shelf again :)
