summer reading update...

i finished this book last week
and i loved it.

i read her other book years ago
and i remember that i liked it
and that others that read it
at the time also liked it.

i was caught up in this one...
sophie felt like someone i knew...
like i had seen a friend each day...
perhaps i recognized some of myself
in her...

next on the list-
100 years of solitude.

Hhhhmmm...I'm not familiar with this book. I'll have to have a look at the write-up on Amazon. Because I need more ideas of stuff to read. Heh.

They say not to judge a book by its cover, but I can't help it--this one looks good. :)

and 100 years of solitude--I love that one!

SO interesting to hear your thoughts on this book. I read this book last week too (bought it at the airport before my trip- fell in love with the cover!) and when it was done.. it was the first book in a long time I thought was just okay. Different strokes? :)

1oo years of solitude...that's a tough one. it took me years to get through it. i'd read some of it then set it aside for so long that i'd have to start over...and i'd do this over and over and over again. i finally made it through it when oprah chose this book as her summer reading challenge.
