monday almost midnight...

i have all kinds of things i want to show you
but have been holding back
because i am a linear thinker.

i feel like i have to edit my photos by order
in which they are taken.
and the things that i want to show
were taken in may.
but the over-1000 photos that i took in april
have not been edited and gone through yet...
therefore, my compulsive nature
will not let me even look at the may photos.

{this sounds so much stranger when i try to type it out}

so instead i will tell you this:

i just devoured this book in one afternoon
and it was fantastic...i laughed so hard at the santa claus/
st nicholas part that i woke 9 up and he came to
see what was wrong with me...

i am hoping to get my new computer tomorrow!! {fingers crossed!}

i watched this and loved it...great, great story...

Funny how we set the rules for ourselves like that...

This last few months, I have been forced to be a catalyst for change... it's not easy.

David Sedaris cracks me up too. Love the Santa Claus story.

i am like that too .. linear ... so it means some of my most favourite photos never get posted especially when i am in stages like i am in where i am working so much in film. because by the time i take it in, get it back and get around to scanning it, well ... it feels too late to post.

maybe that is something we should both let go, the need to post them in any sort of linear order because maybe it doesn't matter (and this is just me thinking out loud)

thinking of you and all the awesome movement you are doing.

I get that way, too...the linear stuff I mean. And thanks for reminding me that I've been meaning to read some Sedaris...
