april 09 post-a-poem {11}

where do my words go
when they refuse to come to me?
are they hiding in the garden,
in the corner, behind the gnome?
are they sleeping, still tucked in bed
or carelessly skipping down the road?
am i wrong to search for them?
should i just let them come to me?
but, what if they don't come back
then...who will i be?

yet another variation of a RWP prompt

I like this....The words will come.. For me sometimes they need space, and sometimes prodding

I like the specific questions you ask and where you end this. Very engaging.

i like this...

sometimes words just feel like eloping with our muses...but they'll miss us..so no need to worry... ( that's my mantra..hehe)

keep writing..

I hope you plan on bundling up these babies and putting them into a book. Because that is how this month has felt reading your amazing words.

Falling deeply in love with each new passage...
