friday i'm in love {nablopomo day 7}

with...

~the fact that after tomorrow, i have 4 whole days off...

~the fact that on those 4 days off, laundry and cleaning
will already have been done...so i have those 4 days
for other things...
picture taking, fimo playing, card creating...

~strawberry and cream flavored chupa chup suckers

~nine taking 20.00 for a book fair at school
and giving 12.00 of it to his friend who had no money...
{although, i do fear his niceness
may be taken advantage of sometimes...but how do
you control that...without saying "don't give"}

~fantastic images created by this amazing girl...

Awww! That is so sweet of you!
Yay for having 4 days off (and having all the not so much fun stuff out of the way)! Me thinks I need to get some of that done this weekend...boohoo!

something cheeky is really fantastic - i love seeing what she comes up with each day.

your nine is like my girl, who apparently has been buying snacks for another girl with her lunch money. i love her big heart, but i do worry that she gets taken advantage of. sigh.

enjoy your four free days!!

four days off will be wonderful ~ a giving heart is good and you can talk with him about when to be a giver and when to hold back. so much to teach so much to learn!

Yeah for 4 days of creating and not having to clean!!

My kids have run into the same problem when I've given them money for the book fair, etc. We talked about it and decided it was ok to give $2 or less. This way they are still giving, the other child can buy a pencil, eraser, something small and my kids are not being taken advantage of.

Thanks for the amazing link to those fantastic photos! Nine...SO SWEET! As someone who has always been one of those toying with the line between being kind and being a sucker, I can tell you it hasn't changed my decisions knowing I may be taken advantage of. Nine is probably just a kindred spirit that way. Hope you're enjoying your days off! xoxo
