eeeeek...i was almost late...

ack...
i was almost late for the tea party at fanciful twist!!
i ran out of sprite
and had to settle for ginger ale,
and then it rained
and my hair got wet
which meant all the red/purple temporary color ran out of my hair and onto my gown...
my pumpkin had a flat,
the goblin who works at the gas station
had gone out for pizza
so i had to change the tire myself
and since i left my magic wand
up in the tree the other day
{please don't ask why i was in the tree,
i will cry with embarrassment, i really will}
i had to really change it myself
and so...
phew...
i am late.

but i am here now
and mmmm...whoops...i almost dropped my
cupcake...trying to put my hat on...
{will you be upset if some of purple hair
color bleeds onto the paper...my hair is
still damp...oh..i knew you wouldn't mind,
because you are soooo sweet}

:0)
{this was fun.}
{go get your tiara and come along...
i have room in the pumpkin...it's a bit of a gas guzzler
but i just can't let go of her...she's a classic, you know.}

Thanks for having me at your party. I got so excited I kept tripping over the edge of my party dress trying to get here. So very glad you stopped by and had tea with us, too. See you at the next party!

Now that you are all dressed up with wet purple hair and all, swing by my tea party for party hats, baubles, and moondancing!

*giggles - fits of giggles!*

I had problems making it on time, too (I'm actually just now getting around to mingling ... bad me).

It's a great pleasure to meet you and hope to see you again soon!

Cheers! ~M~

Happy Mad Tea Party Day!
Oh, don't worry a bit...
I was too was late...
Really...
For a very important date!
But the great thing about a blog party is...
No one else can see how messy your house is online!
It really is a masquerade!
Lovely blog.

Yes, those pumpkins are so uneconomical. I switched over to a Toyota that runs on imagination and get much better mileage. So glad you made it to the party. Don't worry about a little water. Your purple hair looks great.

I am quite glad you were able to make it to the MaD tEa PaRtY ~ though it does sound as though you had your share of mishaps along the way... I think the fact that you arrived safe and sound only proves that your were meant to attend, damp hair and all...

I could not stop smiling through your entire story ~ quite clever!! :)

The good thing about a blog party is that one is never "late"! Actually, drips of red and purple add a little je ne sais qua to that dress. Oh my! I REALLY like your label!!
