i have been like a woman obsessed.obsessed by snow
ice
shades of blue and gray...
a constant backdrop of white.
outside my window,
the birch tree looks even more beautiful
than yesterday,
still wearing white on white
but with a blush,
a tinge of early morning pink.
i can't get out fast enough,
feet scrunched into my eight year old son's sneakers,
candy cane colored gloves
grasping the camera...
a woman obsessed
might be
an understatement.
