scrap of a sunday

i spent my sunday
sweeping up dust bunnies
and hobbe's fur balls
from corners and nooks...
i dyed my hair
with decidedly more brown
than red this time,
and like it...
i have cleaned and decluttered,
eaten toasted tomato sandwiches and
drank glass after glass of
cold diet coke...

now we are going to see my mom and dad
and then come home in time
to cuddle up in a four person giggling pile
on a couch that seats 2
to watch america's funniest home videos...

that's my scrap of a sunday.
