a bird in the window is worth....

i was looking at an older copy of
my favorite magazine
november 2006 i think...
when i came across
a small picture of a bird...
the one in the magazine was made
from wood,
but i tried cardboard
and this is what i got...
i'm pretty happy with it
even though
the pictures don't really show
how cute
it looks hanging in the window...
it will make dish-doing-duty
a little more pleasant,
i hope.

This is lovely, too! Great job you did - I get all fed up if I haven't got what's on the list and give up far too easily..
I'm a proper nosey parker, too, and I love the green paintwork, and the tree on the corkboard! ;) I am so with you on needing something to make washing the dishes more fun! :)
Thanks for sharing this - glad to meet you! (found you on CaC)

That is so cunning!

You did a wonderful job and I'm sure it will not only brighten your day, but any peeping Toms who might wander past.
