book of dreams (one)

i have been doing some work
on my book of dreams...
this is what the cover looks like
(and i will apologize in advance for the
dark photos...the sun is not co-operating today!)

in gold, it says "happily ever after"...
the inside is brighter than in these rotten photos...
i decided that my "theme"
for the book
would be "inspiration"...
what inspires me...
poetry,
writing,
other artists,
ideas,
lyrics,
quotations,
that kind of thing...
the quote is hard to see
in this photo
but it says
"There are two ways of
spreading light:
to be the candle
or
the mirror that reflects it"
Edith Wharton

and that is the beginning
of my
book of dreams...

what is your little red pocket attached with? is that some kind of yellow tape with poka dots? and what did you use to paint your background? i'm trying to learn as much as i can along the way...

I love it!!! It makes me want one!! I am so boring in my journal...just sketches of painting ideas, writing about them etc....no real beauty.

Thank you for inspiring me!!!

I love this idea. Great quote. I want to be the candle AND the mirror. Is that too much to ask?
